Charles Bailly Blanc de Blancs Brut Suprême NV
Charles Bailly was born in 1896 in Nuits-Saint-Georges and left his mark on the history of his village. After being decorated with the Military Cross during World War II, he consecutively worked as a gymnastics instructor, honorary captain of firefighters and cellar worker. In his spare time, he used to ride his bicycle through the Nuits-Saint-Georges vineyard to cultivate some plots of Pinot Noir he owned. He was very proud of those of Charmois, the Argillats and Thurots. Our festive wines pay tribute to this colourful character, who died in 1964, but deeply marked the life of our region.
